Chat attachments create risks ranging from harmful imagery and malware to accidental sharing of private metadata. Ellchat currently keeps conversations text-only so human reviewers can assess reports consistently and users cannot be surprised by unsolicited media.
What remains available
People may choose a profile picture up to 2 MB or a tightly limited server icon. These images are checked for supported file signatures and delivered through authenticated routes.
Review before expansion
Media should only return after documented safety, storage, scanning, reporting and retention controls are ready. Product demand alone is not enough.
